01 · The niche

Two oceans, one island

Cat Instagram is an ocean. Food Instagram is an ocean. Two cats named after a noodle is a small island where both crowds land, and the algorithm loves accounts that pull from neighboring audiences. A noodle fan follows for one reason, a cat person for another. We keep both.

Right now the name belongs to noodle restaurants, from Dublin to Japan. No cat account owns it. The food search traffic already exists, the cat side is empty, and handles like @biangbiang.cats are sitting there.

02 · The sound

A name you post with your ears

Biang is a sound before it's a word: the slap of dough on the counter. Reels are audio-first, so the account gets a sonic logo for free. Two slaps at the end of every video. That's the signature.

Doubled syllables stick. TikTok, Chupa Chups, biangbiang. Nobody says it once.

The honest weakness: nobody can spell it from hearing it. The fix: the word is on screen every time the sound plays. Ear and eye learn it together.

03 · The lore

The whole mythology fits in one caption

The dish is written with the same character twice:

𰻞𰻞面
biáng · biáng · miàn. the same character, twice

Two cats, one name, is correct spelling. That's the pinned post, the answer to the most-asked question, and a fact people share because it makes them look clever.

And the character keeps giving: around 58 strokes, in Unicode since 2020, still unrenderable on most phones. Seeing empty boxes above? That's the bit. People will try to type it in the comments. Let them.

04 · The content system

Series, not posts

Two cats with one name is a format engine. It natively generates games: which one is this, who did it, they answer to the same call. Recurring series are what grow accounts, so the plan is six of them.

S1 · SIGNATURE

Making biscuits

Match-cut a cat kneading a blanket with hands kneading real biangbiang dough, motion-synced. The whole brand in four seconds.

S2 · FILLER

Noodle taxonomy

Classify poses as noodles: loaf is udon, full stretch is biangbiang, tangled is spaghetti, zoomies are instant ramen. Cheapest format here.

S3 · ENGAGEMENT

Which Biangbiang?

The twins quiz, with story polls. The audience slowly learns the one tiny difference and becomes insiders.

S4 · BRAND

Seal of approval

The red chop stamps ratings on noodles, naps, boxes and Barcelona noodle spots. Brand asset becomes content.

S5 · SHARE

Line over life

Overlay the one-line logo on photos of the real cats in matching poses. Shareable, and it teaches people the mark.

S6 · WORLD

The heritage episode

Sacred Birmans, the legendary temple cats of Burma. Burma's national dish, mohinga, is a noodle soup. Cats from a noodle nation. Then ramen week, pho week, fideuà.

Start with three: Making Biscuits as the hero, Noodle Taxonomy as the filler, Which Biangbiang as the engagement layer. Add the rest once the rhythm holds.

05 · The mark

One noodle, drawn without lifting the pen

One line, never lifted. It enters as dough, curls into a tail, becomes a cat, and does it again. Identical, like a character typed twice. Stroke-only, so whatever is behind the logo becomes their fur. White cats, white noodles. The page does the coloring. Birman paws even come white-gloved, like they just stepped out of the flour.
